NFL Week 1-2 Review

Week 1

The opening week of NFL football was not a let down. Amazing games such as Arian Fosters record setting day, Houston Texans upset over the Indianapolis Colts, and the Monday Night upset of the kansas City Chiefs over the San Diego Chargers only set the tone for the rest of the season.

Key Games-
-Chiefs beat Chargers- this was a big upset and it is giving the Chiefs a considerable amount of confidence. the Chiefs defense was extremely sharp, shutting down the rookie Matthews.
- Pats run over Bengals- The Cincinnatti Bengals looked terrible. Tom Brady tore apart the defense and Carson Palmer just didn't look good.

Week 2

Week 2 wasn't as exciting as the first week... UNTIL MONDAY NIGHT! The game of the week was the MNF matchup of the Saints against the 49ers.  The game came down to a winning field goal at the last second of the game. Heroics from Drew Brees shined as time expired.

Key Games-
-The Dolphins win over the Vikings was a very important game. The goal line stand by the Dolphins shut down Adrian Peterson and locked up 1st place in the division.

  1. I don't know too much about football (being that I am a bigger baseball fan), but I try to follow football as much as I can. Being a Minnesota Vikings fan in particular, I was not pleased with the recent Dolphins win over my Vikings, but then again our offense hasn't been looking too hot lately to begin with. The information and overall results provided about other significant games that took place is helpful in that it keeps me up-to-date with the current standings of the teams in the league. Additionally, the small summaries describing some of the highlights of the games is a plus too. In general, your blog presents important information regarding football teams that I take intetrest in.
