Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins resigned Head Coach Tony Sporano to a 2 year deal. After Miami's disappointing season, many fans hoped that the organization would sign a high profile guy like Jim Harbaugh John Gruden, or Bill Cowher. Miami's Offensive Coordinator stepped down, so they now have to find they right man to fill the void. I think the Phins should offer Tony Dungey a contract.
The Miami Dolphins also have the 15th pick of the draft. Since QB Andrew Luck withdrew from the draft, Miami isn't looking to likely to be able to snag a top QB. Miami will not play with Henne next year. I personally hope we can get a QB like Cam Newton, but it seems unlikely.

Season ending Awards
At the end of the season, there will be a vote for Pro-bowlers and other awards for the players. These are my projections as of late:
MVP (Most Valuable Player): Phillip Rivers- QB Phillip Rivers is putting up record passing numbers with a injury and suspension ridden WR core. He has no running game to sell play-action as the HB are injured and not performing well. Rivers should win MVP because he is single handedly making San Diego a play off contending team.
Offensive Player of The Year: Based on pure statistics Phillip Rivers could very well win this award as well. I think it will be a toss up between QB Tom Brady. He has the best passer Rating at 109.5 and leads passing stats with 27 TDs. So, I'm not sure about this one, but I think Mr. Rivers will win.
Defensive Player of the Year: At the beginning of the season it looked like a sure bet that LB Clay Matthews was going to win with his outrageous number of sacks. But, Miami's un-drafted diamond in the dirt LB Cameron Wake has surpassed Matthews with 12.0 sacks.... Wake is a sure pass rusher as his numbers on 3rd down and sure passing downs are much higher than anyone elses. But, CB Asante Samuel is leading the league in INTs and is shutting down each receiver he's facing. This one is also a toss up, but I'm going to give it to #91 Cameron Wake.
Offensive Rookie of The Year: The Number one overall Pick in 2010's draft, Sam Bradford, should win this award. He is top in the league in passer rating on 3rd down. He is without his #1 WR Donnie Avery and he is looking extremely patient and decisive in the pocket. Bradford would have had a run for his money had Detroit's HB Jahvid Best kept his performances going from the start of the season. But, no one looks like they can take this award besides Bradford.
Defensive Rookie of The Year: Ndomakong Suh. The freak of nature who plays defensive tackle. This position is a run stopping position yet Suh has 8 sacks and 41 total tackles. This beast should be the sure fire winner.
Comeback Player of The Year: MV7... Michael Vick. He is shredding defenses and has limited INTs. Theres no stopping this man. He is the starter and no defense can handle him. NO DOUBT MV7 wins this award.
Coach of the Year: Many coaches have had good years. Rex Ryan could win this award. So can Pete Carrol, Jim Harbaugh, and Mike Smith. BUT, my pick for COY is Head Coach Todd Haley of the KC Chiefs. Once the laughing stock of the league Todd Haley has pulled the Chiefs in playoff contention and has them looking sharp.

Half time report
It's half time and the score is 0-6 Bears. Robboe gould has scored both field goals for Chicago. Neither team's QB is playing well with a combined 3 INTs and 0 touchdowns.
The Miami Defense looks very good. They are shutting the Bears down on 1st and 2nd down, but they are allowing way to many 3rd down conversions.
Brandon Marshal left the game during the second quarter. Although there is little information on his injury, he was grabbing at his hamstring. This is a very bad sign for struggling QB Tyler Thigpen.
If the Dolphins can turn it on offensively I think they have a shot at this game. They have had some dropped passes and some missed blocks. Although, I realistcally predict the final score will be 16 10 Bears... :(

Thursday night football
The Miami Dolphins square off with the Chicago Bears. This is a must win game for both teams. For the Dolphins the difference between being 6-4 and 5-5 is massive. And, for The Bears need to win because the NFC North is starting to pull away from them with the Packers.
My final score prediction is 31-24 Miami. Looke for special teams to be a big part of the game. My two players of the game to watch are Jay Cutler and Tyler Thigpen. These two need to perform well for their teams to win.

3 NFC Teams to Watch
3 NFC Teams to Watch
1. New York Giants- The G men are somehow under the radar. Their defense is stellar. Lead by the Sack Machines Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck, the G men put pressure on and cause turnovers. Also, Eli Manning is looking like the Superbowl Winning Eli. His relationship with WR Hakeem Nicks seems to always let them meet up with a chest bump in the end-zone. G men are the best in the NFC and could be wearing a SuperBowl Patch on their jerseys come February.
2. Green Bay Packers- The Cheese Heads. I think Green Bay is a very good team. The injury ridden squad still seems to be able to put W's on their calendar. Aaron Rodgers is campaigning for an MVP year with his numbers. He just always seems to find the open guy, which, is usually Greg Jennings. The defense is lead by Clay Matthews. Also, in the running for MVP. My vote for Defensive player of the Year has already gone to Clay. He has close to 9 hundred million sacks for the season.... No but he has 10.5 and leads the league. GB is very good. Theres not many holes in those Cheese Heads.
3. Atlanta Falcons- Although the Falcons are playing in a weak NFC South, they're still making haste with other teams out side of their division. Roddy White is performing extremely well and is a top 5 WR in the league. Michael Turner is a Beast again, and the Falcon D is performing well. Thats it! The falcons are good. Bottom line.
