It's half time and the score is 0-6 Bears. Robboe gould has scored both field goals for Chicago. Neither team's QB is playing well with a combined 3 INTs and 0 touchdowns.
The Miami Defense looks very good. They are shutting the Bears down on 1st and 2nd down, but they are allowing way to many 3rd down conversions.
Brandon Marshal left the game during the second quarter. Although there is little information on his injury, he was grabbing at his hamstring. This is a very bad sign for struggling QB Tyler Thigpen.
If the Dolphins can turn it on offensively I think they have a shot at this game. They have had some dropped passes and some missed blocks. Although, I realistcally predict the final score will be 16 10 Bears... :(

Thursday night football
The Miami Dolphins square off with the Chicago Bears. This is a must win game for both teams. For the Dolphins the difference between being 6-4 and 5-5 is massive. And, for The Bears need to win because the NFC North is starting to pull away from them with the Packers.
My final score prediction is 31-24 Miami. Looke for special teams to be a big part of the game. My two players of the game to watch are Jay Cutler and Tyler Thigpen. These two need to perform well for their teams to win.

3 NFC Teams to Watch
3 NFC Teams to Watch
1. New York Giants- The G men are somehow under the radar. Their defense is stellar. Lead by the Sack Machines Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck, the G men put pressure on and cause turnovers. Also, Eli Manning is looking like the Superbowl Winning Eli. His relationship with WR Hakeem Nicks seems to always let them meet up with a chest bump in the end-zone. G men are the best in the NFC and could be wearing a SuperBowl Patch on their jerseys come February.
2. Green Bay Packers- The Cheese Heads. I think Green Bay is a very good team. The injury ridden squad still seems to be able to put W's on their calendar. Aaron Rodgers is campaigning for an MVP year with his numbers. He just always seems to find the open guy, which, is usually Greg Jennings. The defense is lead by Clay Matthews. Also, in the running for MVP. My vote for Defensive player of the Year has already gone to Clay. He has close to 9 hundred million sacks for the season.... No but he has 10.5 and leads the league. GB is very good. Theres not many holes in those Cheese Heads.
3. Atlanta Falcons- Although the Falcons are playing in a weak NFC South, they're still making haste with other teams out side of their division. Roddy White is performing extremely well and is a top 5 WR in the league. Michael Turner is a Beast again, and the Falcon D is performing well. Thats it! The falcons are good. Bottom line.

3 AFC Teams to Watch For
3 AFC Teams to Watch For
1. Baltimore Ravens- Baltimore is playing like a Super-Bowl Caliber Team. QB Joe Flacco is coming into form. He is showing his deep-threat, gun of an arm. Ray Rice is still very dangerous carrying and catching the ball from the back field. And, the Ravens D is still lockdown. They have the 9th ranked Pass D and their DB always have the scent of the end-zone in their noses. This teams dangerous.
2. New England Patriots- Many people thought with the trade of "The Freak" the Pats would severely lose depth and offensive prowess. Well, the no-namers like Danny Woodhead, Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis, Brandon Tate, and Arron Hernandez are pairing up with Veterans like Deon Branch and Tom Brady to surprise the league with huge offensive numbers. The Patriot secondary needs help but the Pats are still a very big threat even if they don't win the division.
3. Kansas City Chiefs- Week in and week out this run first team replete with good blocking and Pro-Bowl Halfbacks carry this team to victory. The Chief's defense is also doing their part. Their run stoppers like Glenn Dorsey are helping. And, their secondary defensive backs are playing superbly. The modernized running style between a scat back and a power back is extremely powerful. The Chief's could go from Rags to Riches very soon.

Mid Season projections! NFC
NFC
North
Cheese. The Smelly, Luxembourg Cheese heads will win this division.... Even though the Bears of Chicago started out strongly, Lovie Smith's team just wont be able to compete with Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews. Pack take this division swiftly
East
Once looked at as the strongest division, the NFC East now looks bleak and terrible. Kevin Kolb receives his QB tole back after the bye week. I don't agree with this, but Andy Reid is undeceive himself. The Eagles will fly into the playoffs just barley escaping the grasp of the Giants defense.
South
The Tampa Buccaneers are 5-2.... And that doesn't mean much in my book. The Saints will win this division.
West
Pete Carrol will not only win Coach of the year, but he will win the NFC West Division Title. Matt Hasselbeck is putting up Pro-Bowl numbers and the Seahawks Defense is outstanding. Seattle wins this division.

AFC Playoff Prediction!
AFC
West
The surprise pick of the year. Anyone who picked the Chiefs to win the division before Week 1 is looking like a genius right now... Chiefs pull through and maybe defense will win a championship. The Chiefs have something really special in their offense with the All around back of Thomas Jones, the SPEEEEDSTER Jamal Charles, and the flexibility of Dexter McCluster. Dare I say, "Go KC?"
East
The Miami Dolphins will win this division. As the most competitive division barrels down, i think the Phins squeeze out the title over the Pats and Jets. As long as QB Henne can continue his leadership, I think the dolphins are in good shape.
South
QB Peyton Manning could very well be the smartest player of all time. He dictates the entire game. Theres just no stopping this man. Colts win the South.

The Steelers and the Ravens will battle it out for the division title and I believe it will fall to the Ravens. Joe Flacco and the Ravens defense is playing amazing. Sorry Pittsburgh, maybe Ben Rapelessburger can bring it home next year.
